500 Records is an artist run record label whose staff is all a part of the San Francisco indie music scene. 500 Records was established in 2005 as a music collective, to help artists and bands who did not have the attention of a legitimate record label. Over the past 3 years we have worked with many great bands and have increased our usefulness to bands by moving towards being a legitimate record label. In September 2008, we partnered with the established Bay Area record label, Three Ring Records, whose experience and enthusiasm for local music has allowed 500 Records to secure full national and international distribution in both the physical and digital realm.
